Jacqueline Délia Brémond shares her experience with schoolchildren

Jacqueline Délia Brémond meets with pupils from a CM2 (fifth grade) class (Ecole Georges Bizot – Paris XII)

Invited as part of the educational program run by the École de la Philanthropie, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, the Co-Chair of the Foundation discussed her philanthropic engagement with a fifth-grade class.

During an hour, the children learned about sustainable development, particularly in the fishing, agriculture and energy sectors. They were also able to discover the variety of projects funded by the Foundation. The session always end with a practical learning experience (use of compost choice, sensitization about fish species you can not eat – check out Greenpeace website, ‘Et ta mer, tu y penses’, in French -).

‘What is wonderful is having the chance to hear what these children have to say, too. Some of them already know a lot and are really motivated!’ All the more reason for J. Délia Brémond to continue showing them our support… It’s an age at which children are still highly receptive…
